I picked up a “few” items during my years in Shanghai. One of them is buddhas.. My husband counted them once, and apparently it was far too many. And then my friends gave me some more buddhas as a farewell gift! But he actually approved our garden Buddha. The lantern was a gift for myself;) When I lived in Shanghai the first time I really wanted one of these lanterns. But I didn’t know where we were going to live in Sweden so I didn’t get one. So the second time we lived there, I promised myself to bring one to Sweden the day we moved back. And it fits perfectly in our lush garden.
