2 dl walnuts, one to grind for the outside and one to use in the raw ball
1,5 dl almonds
3 tablespoons coconut oil
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons almond butter
1, Grind 1 dl walnuts in a food processor until fine crumbs form, and put aside in a small bowl.
2, Grind the almonds and walnuts in a food processor until fine crumbs form.
3,Add the rest of the ingridients and continue processing until fully incorporated.
4, Once the mixture sticks together, proceed to scoop about 1 tablespoon of the mixture into the palm of your hand and rolling it between your hands.
5, Roll the little balls in the walnut crumbs.
6, Place in fridge for an hour, and then enjoy!
The raw balls keep well for up to 2 weeks in the fridge in an airtight container. You can also freeze them, and then they keep well for up to 2 months!
If your dates are dry, I recommend you to soak them in hot water for about half an hour, and then drain them well before using as directed.
