A little gem in the picturesque fishing village Brantevik at Österlen in Southern Sweden. The house used to be an old Smoke House for fish but today it is a restaurant and Bed & Breakfast opposite the small harbour of Brantevik.
Chef Elin Dahn Gellerfelt is creating some Swedish and International classics in the kitchen. We were a group of 13 people having dinner and we had a delicious blast with some perfectly paired wine! I have to say Thank you Hans for the perfect pairing! We had 3 different starters, escargot.Beef Tartare and shrimp sandwich. I do love a shrimp sandwich in the summer! I’ve had lots of them lately.I had tuna as a main course paired with a 2017 Bourgogne Blanc Les Femelottes. Just perfect!
We took our desserts outside in the garden, and I had their homemade truffles with a cappuccino. One with lemon and white chocolate, and the other one with Baileys. I recommend this place for everyone as it works great for children too.

Look at this pretty wall painting by Ola Sivhed. It is hiding a small door and the pipes!
