A magical dreamy evening, enjoying a very different Christmas buffet at restaurant Artipelag outside Stockholm. As I never have been here before, I was very excited to go here. The only sad thing was that I didn’t get to experience the actual restaurant with the view over Baggensfjärden as the show and Christmas buffet is held in the Artbox. But that is one amazing space, like entering a movie set!
But watching Cirkus Cirkör perform made up for it! The food was great, especially the cold table with different kinds of salmon, herring, ham, salads, nice sausages etc. The cold part of the food is my favorite part, and the dessert! After eating the cold part of the food, and some more show we had meatballs, Janssons, sausage, cabbage etc. Everything you have at a traditional Swedish Christmas table. The dessert table was just right in size, and I had saffron pannacotta, toffee, saffron toffee, gingerbread cheesecake and much more. You can order a wine, schnapps and beer. Or go for the non alcoholic version with julmust or sodas. I actually had that as I am still a bit in the wrong time zone..
Cirkus Cirkör both educate people and they perform. The show at Artipelag is performed by the following gang:
Nelli Kujansivu, foot juggler
Regina Baumann, aerial acrobatics
Peter Åberg, conferencier and juggler
Klara Mossberg, tightrope walker and aerial artist
Fabian Kazen Nikolajeff, trampoline and acrobatics
Anna Ahnlund, song and music
Everything was accompanied with nice lighting, music and show. And I was even a part of the show, as a bench….Me up on stage
