Restaurant Rijks and Twins Garden creates a special menu for one night in Moscow

Langoustine, daikon and curry cream by Rijks restaurant.

Ivan and Sergey Berezutskiy from Twins Garden in Moscow invited Joris Bijdendijk and Yascha Oosterberg from Restaurang Rijks in Amsterdam to create an exclusive Eight hands dinner during a special night in Moscow. So twice the numbers of superstars in the kitchen, that is what I call a one off experience!

Cabbage broth with egg yolk cream by Rijks restaurant.

Both restaurants created some of their most special dishes, and had a fantastic team work in the kitchen of Twins Garden. It was pure joy to try out their dishes with so many textures and spectacular flavours! And to see that all the different dishes worked perfect one after each other.

Crackers that was looked like the most delicate hand made paper. And yes they tasted fantastic! By Twins Garden.

Fantastic texture, colour and flavour and filled with a seasonal Sea Buckthorn cream that is very seasonal in Russia at this time.

Millefeuille Beetroot with Dashi and parsley oil by Rijks

Fantastic team work!

And it was a special night as it was Mariana’s birthday! Micha’s girlfriend.

I was seated with this lovely crowd! Bob Holmes, Velimir Cindric, Susana Nieto Munoz, Harold McGee and Carla Capalbo. And the guy that served the most delicious wine!
