Schloss Saareck

Staying at a German castle in Mettlach for two days. Totally ok with me. I was flying to Frankfurt, and then a bus ride to the castle.

The Castle was built for the von Boch family from Villeroy & Boch, but is now a guesthouse owned by Villeroy & Boch AG.

Even if it was built 1902, it feels like an old castle. During the war the castle was a hospital, and since 1954 it’s been a hotel.

There is a beautiful park, and it’s located close to the river.

I would love to go back again!
