I visited the Campo Viejo Winery in Logroño, Spain. In the heart of Rioja!
It was like a dream come true, the winery is situated outside the city, and the scenery was breathtaking!
And getting to know how wine is made is really fascinating. I was so impressed with everyone’s passion for the grapes and vineyard at the Winery. I love seeing people who enjoy what they are doing, and feel passionate about it.
We were shown aroud in the vineyard, all the different grapes and how you take care of them.
This is an Insect Hotel that is built with recycled materials by the children of the employees at Campo Viejo. The hotel is a shelter for insects like ladybugs, beetles etc.. These insects are natural predators of vineyard common pests!
When you are allowed to try the grapes in the vineyard! Delicious!!
