Rosendals Garden in Stockholm

This place is situated at Djurgården, just by Rosendal Palace. I have been a frequent visitor since the day they opened and my mother dragged me here. They grow a lot of the herbs, vegetables, and flowers that they use in the Cafe and Bakery in their garden and greenhouses. It is a real farm to table concept here, in the most fantastic surroundings. They serve a lot of different salads, sandwiches and cakes here. As well as going here on my own I have been here for some events. It is hard to be disappointed in these surroundings. As I am from a family where we always have been eating a lot of nice cakes(my mom worked at a bakery) , I really appreciate everything here. But it is not only the actual food, the surroundings out here are just picture perfect! Lots of fields with everything you can eat and look at. I recommend a nice walk from the city or a ride with the tram, followed by something to eat and drink in the greenhouse or garden.

There is a shop that sells plants, seeds, pots and other useful things. And another shop that sells things for the kitchen and food to bring back home.

I give this place 5 out of 5, even if I never give points. The only downer is that it is quite expensive.
