My little E turtned 11, a big day that she has longed for since Christmas Day… She had picked sushi for dinner, american pancakes for breakfast and a Chocolate Meringue cake to end her special day with.
Mackmyra whisky tasting at restaurant Tako in Stockholm with master blender Angela D’Orazio. She has blended a new really interesting Single Malt Whisky with Green Tea that will be launched the 27th of March. It was really great together with the sushi, and I would guess that it would work great with some of my chinese dishes too…
Dougal Gunn Sharp, the founder of Scottish Innis & Gunn visited Sweden, and I was invited to an evening where we had food paired with some different kinds of beer from Innis & Gunn. The food was prepared by Marin Brag, and it was an fantastic evening with lot’s of laughter. The Islay Cask was a new taste sensation for me! It has been matured on Islay Whisky barrels and it sure was tasty. It was like a meal in itself! I have to get some for when my brother will visit! My all time high from Innis & Gunn is Blood Red Sky! It is my absolutely favourite beer!
Spring is here, and my dad and Eva brought me some beautiful tulips! Thanks!!!!
I actually spent the weekend with a Staycation at Blique by Nobis in Stockholm! Great fun and I have to do it again! Find out more about that tomorrow!! Have a great new week!
