Yu Garden was first built in 1559 during the Ming Dynasty. But it took a long time to complete it. It was the largest and most prestigious garden in Shanghai. It’s been damaged a lot several times. And during the first opium war the the British army used the Huxinting Teahouse as a base of operations for several days in 1842. Since 1982 Yu Garden is a national monument.
This is a shop that is hard to beat! You walk into a very lush paradise, you are just surrounded of plants, flowers and a lot of “I want” items!! You can also rent the place for a party. I feel like a little girl in there, and I feel that I don’t wanna leave. There is just so many things to look at! The shop is called Gullvivan, which is Cowslip in English. And it is located at Lidingö, an Island just 15 minutes from Stockholm city centre!
